Account

How do I create an account?
Download Pitchside and tap "Sign Up". Enter your email and choose a password. You’ll be ready to log your first match in seconds.

How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email. You’ll receive a link to set a new password.

Can I change my username?
Yes. Go to your profile, tap the settings icon, and update your username. Usernames must be unique.

Match Logging

How do I log a match?
Tap the (+) button in the bottom navigation. Choose whether you attended in person or watched on TV, then search for the fixture and rate your experience.

What’s the difference between "Attended" and "Watched"?
Attended logs are for matches you experienced in the stadium — you’ll rate atmosphere, stadium, food, value, and can record noise levels. Watched logs are for TV/streaming and focus on broadcast quality, commentary, and entertainment value.

Which leagues are supported?
Pitchside covers 900+ leagues worldwide through our fixture data provider. If a league or match is missing, let us know.

Noise Meter

How does the noise meter work?
When logging an attended match, you can record a 10-second noise sample using your phone’s microphone. The app measures ambient decibel levels (dBFS) and saves a summary with your match log.

Is my audio recorded or stored?
No. Audio is processed entirely on your device in real time. Only the computed noise level readings (numerical values) are saved — raw audio is never uploaded or stored on our servers.

Why does the app need microphone permission?
The microphone is used solely for the noise meter feature. You can deny permission and still use every other feature in the app. Permission can be granted or revoked at any time in your device settings.

Privacy & Data

How do I delete my account?
To request account deletion and removal of all associated data, email us at capakvale@gmail.com. We will process your request promptly.

What data does Pitchside collect?
We collect your email, profile info, match logs, ratings, and noise readings. We do not sell your data or collect device identifiers for advertising. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Can I export my data?
Yes. Under GDPR you have the right to data portability. Contact us at capakvale@gmail.com to request an export of your data in a structured format.
